The Process

How Mosquito Treatment Works

1

We Set the Trap

Bait stations go where egg-laying females are actively searching — near standing water, shaded resting spots, fence lines. The station is designed to be irresistible to the mosquitoes most likely to bite you.

2

She Lands. She Gets Coated.

When she lands on the gauze inside, she picks up a biological larvicide and a slow-acting fungal treatment. She has no idea. She flies out to keep doing what mosquitoes do.

3

She Does Our Work for Us

Every breeding site she visits — gutters, containers, a neighbor's yard, standing water we can't physically reach — gets contaminated. The population collapses from the inside out.

4

Monthly Replenishment

We return every 30 days to reload stations, check activity levels, and apply targeted treatment to any active hot spots. The trap keeps working between visits.

What We Offer

Treatment Programs

Most Popular

Seasonal Program

March – October

Eight monthly treatments covering the entire mosquito season. Continuous protection from spring through fall — our most popular plan.

  • Monthly 30-day barrier treatments
  • Breeding site identification
  • Free re-service if mosquitoes return
  • No contracts — cancel anytime

Event Treatment

One-time service

Applied 24–48 hours before weddings, parties, or backyard gatherings. You'll notice a real difference — but one treatment won't hold a Texas yard for a season. Most customers who book an event service end up adding a monthly plan once they see what's possible.

Best results come from consistent monthly treatments.

Year-Round Program

Houston area only

Houston's mild winters keep mosquitoes active year-round near bayous and wetlands. Monthly treatments all 12 months for complete coverage.

Public Health

West Nile Is Active in Your County

West Nile Virus isn't a distant concern — it's confirmed active in the counties where we work. Fort Worth/Tarrant County, Houston/Harris County, and Fort Bend County consistently appear on the Texas DSHS activity map every season. These are NoCo's core service areas.

There's no vaccine for humans. The only defense is reducing your exposure. Monthly barrier treatments eliminate 85–95% of mosquitoes on your property — that's not just a comfort upgrade, it's a public health measure.

The Technology Behind It

The In2Care Station

The bait station we use is the In2Care Mosquito Station — registered exclusively for licensed pest professionals. It's not a stronger version of something you could buy. It's a fundamentally different approach: use the mosquito herself as the delivery mechanism, and let her reach breeding sites that no sprayer ever could.

How the In2Care Mosquito Station works: mosquito is attracted, picks up biocide, contaminates nearby breeding sites, then dies
The In2Care Station turns mosquitoes into unwilling agents of their own population collapse.

From Real Customers

What Texas Homeowners Say

"I have been getting NoCo yo treat our house over a year and very satisfied with the service and price. We also like the fact that same technician came to treat each time and was very professional. He also took the time to treat both inside and outside even during hot summer days instead of rushing through. I definitely recommend NoCo Pest Control."

Mosquito Control FAQ

How long does mosquito treatment last?
Barrier treatments provide 30 days of protection under normal conditions. Heavy rain can reduce effectiveness slightly, but modern formulations are designed to withstand typical Texas weather. Monthly reapplication maintains consistent control.
Is mosquito spray safe for pets and children?
Yes, once dried. We use EPA-registered products labeled for residential use. Keep people and pets inside during application and for 30 minutes while product dries. After that, treated areas are safe for normal use.
Will mosquito treatment harm bees or butterflies?
We use targeted applications to mosquito resting areas, not flowering plants where pollinators feed. We avoid vegetable gardens and can work around beehives. Treatment timing (early morning) minimizes pollinator exposure.
What if it rains after treatment?
Wait 24 hours after application before heavy watering or irrigation. Light rain won't wash away dried product. Heavy rain within the first 24 hours may require re-treatment (we'll coordinate if needed).
Do I need to be home for treatment?
No. Most customers prefer we treat while they're away. We can access yards via gates and complete service without anyone home. We leave door hangers confirming treatment completion.
How quickly will I see results?
You'll notice immediate reduction in mosquito activity. Maximum effect occurs within 24-48 hours as mosquitoes contact treated surfaces. Most customers report 85-95% reduction in mosquito bites.
What about mosquitoes coming from neighbors' yards?
Mosquitoes are weak fliers (travel only 100-300 feet from breeding sites). Our barrier treatments create a protective zone around your property. While some mosquitoes may enter from adjacent areas, your property becomes significantly less hospitable.
Can I cancel my mosquito service?
Yes. We don't require long-term contracts. Cancel anytime with notice before your next scheduled treatment. Most customers run March through October then pause for winter.
